October to March is usually the easiest window for monuments, markets, and long outings. Summer is still possible, but it needs earlier starts and more indoor pauses.
It works for both, but casual roaming becomes better when you cluster areas sensibly. Mixing Old Delhi, central Delhi, and Noida in one rushed day usually feels tiring.
Traffic, winter haze, and dust can change walking comfort quickly, so shorter outdoor windows work better on high-pollution days.
