Day 2 in Jaipur: Forts, Views, a Dead Phone and Complete Exhaustion
Our second Jaipur day gave us Nahargarh Fort views, Sheesh Mahal, Amber Palace, fruit chaat, total exhaustion, and one unbelievable phone comeback on the way home.

This Jaipur day gave us fort views, royal details, food, full-body tiredness, and a phone story that somehow got even stranger on the way back.
Day 2 In Jaipur — Forts, Views & Complete Exhaustion
Our first day in Jaipur was already packed with fun, shopping, roaming around, food, and endless pictures. By the time we returned to the hotel that night, everybody was tired… but the good kind of tired.
The kind where your legs hurt, your phone gallery is full, and your brain keeps replaying the day again and again before sleeping.
But honestly, we still were not done exploring Jaipur.
The next morning, we again got ready to continue roaming around the city.
And this time, our first destination was the beautiful Nahargarh Fort.
Visiting Nahargarh Fort
People often say that sunrise looks absolutely amazing from Nahargarh Fort.
And honestly, the moment we reached there, we understood why.
The fort is located on the hills, and the view from there gives a beautiful overlook of Jaipur city. The cool breeze, the height, the old fort walls, and the wide city view together created such an amazing atmosphere.
It genuinely felt peaceful there.
We spent a lot of time simply roaming around the fort, exploring different sections, and enjoying the sightseeing.
One of the most beautiful parts there was the Sheesh Mahal.
The mirror work and detailing inside looked absolutely stunning. Even after so many years, the artwork and architecture still looked royal and elegant.
We also visited the Wax Museum there, which honestly turned out to be quite fun. Everybody kept taking pictures with the statues, making random poses, and laughing continuously.
And of course, nobody missed the pottery section there either.
Watching traditional pottery work and handmade artistic items somehow gave a very authentic Rajasthani feel to the entire experience.
Honestly, Nahargarh Fort did not just feel like a tourist spot. It felt like one of those places where you can simply walk around slowly, enjoy the atmosphere, and forget about time for a while.
The Phone Still Wasn’t Working
One thing I completely forgot to mention during all this Jaipur roaming was the condition of the phone that had fallen inside the drain before the trip.
Even after cleaning it properly back at home, the phone had completely switched off.
And honestly, throughout the Jaipur trip, we kept randomly trying to switch it on again and again.
At the hotel. Inside the taxi. While sitting somewhere casually. Whenever we remembered it.
But every single time…
Nothing happened.
No screen. No vibration. No response at all.
At that point, we had almost accepted that the phone was probably gone forever.
Still, for some reason, we kept trying.

Food At The Fort
By then, roaming around continuously had already made everybody hungry again.
And luckily, there was an authentic Rajasthani restaurant there itself.
So obviously, we decided to stop and eat.
And honestly, food somehow tastes even better after continuously walking around forts and climbing stairs.
The restaurant had that traditional Rajasthani vibe — local-style interiors, cultural touch everywhere, and proper authentic food.
We sat there for quite some time, relaxed, had food peacefully, talked randomly, laughed about old things again, and simply enjoyed the moment.
After leaving from there, we also had fruit chaat nearby.
And honestly, after heavy food and continuous roaming, that fruit chaat felt extremely refreshing.
Exploring Amber Fort
After Nahargarh Fort, we also went to Amber Palace.
And honestly, the place looked absolutely grand.
The huge gates, royal architecture, massive courtyards, beautiful pathways, and historical vibe everywhere made the place feel straight out of a royal movie scene.
Every corner looked picture-perfect.
By this point, our phones were already overloaded with photos… but still, we kept clicking more.
Because honestly, Jaipur gives too many good backgrounds for pictures.
We spent quite some time roaming around there, exploring different sections, observing the architecture, and simply enjoying the royal atmosphere.
But by then…
Everybody was completely tired.
The continuous roaming, walking, sightseeing, food, shopping, and Jaipur heat had finally started showing its effect.
So after enjoying Amber Palace for a while, we decided it was finally time to head back to the hotel and rest properly.
And honestly, while returning back, everybody looked exhausted… but happy.
Because sometimes the best trips are not the luxurious ones.
They are the slightly chaotic, over-tiring, endlessly roaming trips that leave you with hundreds of random memories you continue laughing about even years later.
Back To The Hotel & Leaving Jaipur
By the time we finally returned from Amber Palace, everybody was completely exhausted.
Our legs hurt from continuously roaming around forts and markets, our phones were overloaded with pictures, and honestly, the entire Jaipur trip had already become much more hectic than we originally expected.
But at the same time, it was fun in the best possible way.
The kind of fun where you return tired physically but happy mentally.
The moment we reached the hotel, nobody even had energy left to properly talk anymore. We freshened up a little, relaxed for some time, and within no time everybody fell asleep almost immediately.
And honestly, after two continuously packed days full of:
road trips,
shopping,
forts,
markets,
food,
sightseeing,
endless walking,
and nonstop laughter,
that sleep felt extremely satisfying.
The next morning, it was finally time to leave Jaipur and head back to Noida.
Slowly we packed our bags again, checked all our shopping items properly, made sure nobody forgot anything behind, and left from the hotel.
And then something completely unexpected happened.
As we sat inside the car and started our return journey, we randomly decided to try switching on the drowned phone one more time.
Honestly, nobody expected anything at that point.
But suddenly…
The phone turned on.
For a few seconds, everybody just looked at it in shock.
After staying inside a dirty drain, remaining switched off throughout the entire Jaipur trip, and refusing to respond for days…
it somehow started working again.
And surprisingly, we could properly use the phone again after that.
Honestly, that phone surviving the entire incident still feels unbelievable even today.
While returning back, everybody looked tired but deeply satisfied.
Because somewhere between:
recovering a phone from a dirty drain,
sudden trip planning,
Jaipur evenings,
local markets,
royal forts,
fruit chaat,
shopping bags,
soda bottles,
and hundreds of random pictures,
this trip had quietly become one of those memories we knew we would continue talking and laughing about for years.
And honestly, even today when I think about Jaipur, the first thing that comes to my mind is not just the forts or the palaces…
It is the feeling of that trip.
Completely unplanned. Slightly chaotic. A little tiring. But absolutely unforgettable.
